Get to know the team behind your space
We’re Jay and Jenny Schock — a husband‑and‑wife team who believe life is better when it’s lived close to the water, close to community, and close to the things that matter.
Jay’s family has called Longville home for generations, dating back to his grandfather’s arrival in the area. For nearly two decades, we spent weekends at our cabin on Long Lake, dreaming of the day we could trade city life for something quieter, more meaningful, and more connected to the community we love.
In 2019, we made that dream real — building our home on Long Lake and embracing the peaceful rhythm of small‑town living. It remains the best decision we’ve ever made.
Jay left his career as a loan officer six years ago to launch Lake Days Construction, which continues to serve the Longville area today. Jenny followed her own calling in the summer of 2025, stepping away from corporate life in search of work that felt more personal, more creative, and more rooted in community.
Together, we opened Lake Days Interiors with a simple mission: to bring quality, affordable flooring and genuine, personalized customer service to Longville — while helping revitalize the downtown business community we care so deeply about.
